"I would think of myself of fit and healthy but really, what does that mean?"
"Can I define my fitness level by looking in a mirror?"
"How can I work my workout program without a plan?"
"If I don't know where I am at now, then how can I celebrate my fitness success in the future?"

I found myself asking these questions throughout my first assessment. Do you have all of the answers to your health and fitness goals? Thankfully the answer to many of our fitness unknowns is simple, assessments. Taking the time to take care of yourself is applauded, but unfortunately with the hustle of daily living, how many of us have the time to design a fitness program for ourselves?

At Luna Fitness, we are able to not only run the race, but stay on track in the process. With initial, 30 day, and quarterly assessments, all included in every membership, we can create a fitness roadmap. Setting an hour aside for an assessment is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about your body and the numerous fitness possibilities we have available. With the options of a personal training, Pilates reformer, stretch, or nutrition assessments, there is someone and something that can assist you in achieving your goals.

But what is an assessment? An assessment involves taking your current measurements and discussing your medical history as well as any potential modifications that may need to be incorporated, followed by imperative goal setting. Next, you'll have a personal training/Pilates reformer/stretch/nutrition session and a specific program designed to best suit your needs. On top of that, you are getting a one-on-one time to answer all your of questions and provide assistance, especially when trying something new. Go ahead and schedule an assessment with the Pilates reformer you've been eyeing or a stretch session that you've heard so much about! Each assessment can be different and scheduled with different trainers, providing variety and new challenges to your fitness program.

Once you know where you currently are and where you want to be can motivate you to reach your health and wellness goals. Getting on the scale and remeasured can become exciting after 3 months of hard work if you have the direction in reaching your fitness goals.

And remember...you get a FREE assessment every 3 months...use it or lose it...better yet, use it and EMBRACE it!
