Skinny Guy Training: Weight Gaining Guidelines on how to Develop ...

Skinny guys often wonder about how to grow muscles. Several regimens exist which incorporate weight gaining tips for scrawnier individuals. But, if you are considered skinny, it is possible that you are hesitant to give such programs a try. Maybe you worry that you will accumulate additional fat if you perform regimens meant to build muscle. Perhaps you doubt your ability to eat the amount of food suggested by certain of these programs. Maybe you simply do not believe that the weight gaining tips will actually work for you. As a relatively skinny guy myself, I?d like to offer an alternative skinny guy workout plan.

First off, congratulations on being skinny. Usually being skinny means you have fewer health issues than somebody who weighs too much, of course this does not include those skinny people who are that way due to disorders. I won?t go as far to say it?s easier to gain muscle than it is to lose fat as either takes hard work and time. I?d like to discuss a popular skinny guy workout plan designed to add significant mass and then discuss another program that I think offers a better solution on how to grow muscles.

A very well-known skinny guy workout plan is No-Nonsense Muscle Building. Known as ?Skinny Vinny?, the program?s originator, Vince Delmonte, was a stereotypical skinny guy of 150 pounds, who ultimately added another 40 pounds and grew into a famous fitness model. His addition of mass continued until he reached 210 pounds, with only 10 percent fat content.

Skinny guys should find his story to be quite inspirational. If you visit his website you will see plenty of testimonials from other skinny fellas who have had equal success. However, the weight gaining tips that he proposes just aren?t right for me. He throws a lot of diet advice at you that in my opinion is simply not accurate, although the workouts he proposes are perfect. He advises calorie consumption of other 5000, which is staggeringly high for your average 200lb person. You certainly add muscle, but add a lot of fat as well.

Such a process is typical of a ?gain and reduce? strategy in which you put on a great deal of muscle in the initial stage before you work to shed fat afterward. Although is this the approach you really want to follow? How will you feel about being fat for 6 months? Thinking that I would soon have a larger midsection and need to buy a new wardrobe, I simply could not proceed with the plan. I followed his advice for a while but by the time I had increased my weight by 20lbs I just didn?t feel it was right for me.

Though I do believe that No-Nonsense Muscle Building includes numerous beneficial weight gaining tips, the regimen simply does not mesh with my own fitness objectives. In essence, this will help you get the big and bulky look where as I prefer the lean and muscular look. Thus, I have found success with a different type of muscle building program.

Visual Impact Muscle Building was developed by Rusty Moore. This isn?t a program to help you gain 50lbs. Rather, it assists you in deliberately gaining 10 pounds of leaner muscle mass only. You may think this doesn?t sound like much, but for a first timer this is the amount you can seriously think about putting on in muscle within the first several months anyway. 15lbs of muscle a year is above average for gym rats who pump steroids. Take it from me, if you gain 10 pounds of muscle strategically, you will appear twice as large as before, but your clothing will still fit.

This regime is created to give you the movie star look. This regimen is not meant to give you large, bloated muscles, it is meant to help you develop sculpted musculature seen on popular models. If you have seen the ?Twilight? films then imagine getting as toned as Taylor Lautner did between the first films. Visual Impact utilizes a 3 phase approach designed to increase the size of your muscles and then increase the density of your muscles. You will not be forced to seriously speed up your calorie intake on this regime.

If you?re a skinny guy wondering how to grow muscles, my best advice is not to go overboard by recklessly eating thousands of calories over maintenance. Employ a strength building regimen to slowly and strategically gain muscle but also keep yourself from becoming uncomfortably overweight. Try not to seek a bodybuilder?s physique, though you may initially think it is an appropriate goal. Why would you want to look like a bodybuilder when the toned Hollywood look is what most people are attracted to. Avoid the lure of muscle building regimens meant to help you gain a quick 50 pounds in factor of a more effective skinny guy workout program intended to intelligently and precisely add 10 pounds of muscle.
