Red Bull Racing will fight to defend their title this year
Red Bull Racing have been deemed as the outright favourite for the 2012 Formula 1 World Championship and are presently leading the constructors? championship with 230 points.
The Milton Keynes based team struggled during the last pre-season test this year with the aerodynamics of their car RB8. Moreover, they faced difficulties during the first few races with exploring and understanding the true potential of their car.
It will be important to mention that the defending champions completely dominated during the last two seasons as their driver, Sebastian Vettel stole the show and emerged as the youngest world champion in the history of the sport.
At present, the veteran German driver is standing at third place in the drivers? rankings with 110 points. Additionally, he is ahead of Kimi Raikkonen of Lotus and behind his teammate, Mark Webber who has shown some amazingly performances in the season so far.
The two-time world champion secured an inspiring second podium finish in the first race after taking a start from 6th grid slot. Nonetheless, he made a convincing comeback in the third race in which he came fifth after setting off from 11th grid position.

Nevertheless, the team principal of Red Bull, Christian Horner has said that they are prepared to provide the essential explanations.
?I'm sure there's going to be debate about it,? Horner said. ?Conveniently, there's a Technical Working Group meeting tomorrow and I'm sure this will no doubt go on to the agenda. But the regulations are clear, so there could well be further technical directives that are designed to further clarify those regulations. There's no clause in the regulations that refers to the spirit of the regulations.?
Over and above, he said that they are ready to make the best of the efforts to defend their championship title this year.
